certification and implement 5S methodologies , we’re looking for a talented Quality Control Technician to help us drive performance and exceed customer expectations.
What You’ll Do:
Champion and embody BDC Core Values in daily work. Conduct quality control testing of finished goods and raw materials to ensure compliance with company specifications. Perform in-process quality checks throughout production and conduct audits of production processes. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of QC results. Operate and maintain laboratory equipment; perform equipment calibrations. Maintain a clean and organized laboratory workspace. Perform quality testing on received raw materials according to defined specifications. Review and verify documentation including certificates of analysis and safety data sheets . Analyze and prepare reports based on test results and maintain organized records. Maintain accurate inventory of retained samples and chemicals in the laboratory. Support plant safety and ensure compliance with all BDC safety and quality standards. Assist in writing and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs). Perform other QC functions and projects as assigned by the Director of Quality.
What You’ll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Science preferred. Solid understanding of chemistry testing and laboratory procedures (wet chemistry techniques). Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and GDP (Good Documentation Practices) . Previous experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments preferred. Experience writing and following SOPs; prior involvement in process improvement initiatives is a plus. Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision. Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Intermediate math skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely. A positive, adaptable attitude and a willingness to take on new responsibilities and challenges.
Work Environment:
Air-conditioned laboratory and warehouse. Standing for extended periods of time. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs . Exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and chemicals. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required: gloves, boots, protective eyewear, and other safety gear as needed. Specific vision abilities required, including the ability to visualize and interpret color accurately.
