Temp-to-Perm About the Role We are seeking a Shipping & Receiving Inspector•Aviation industry to ensure adherence to stringent quality assurance standards in the handling and processing of incoming and outgoing aircraft materials and documentation. This is a pivotal role within a dynamic logistics and operations team, essential to maintaining the integrity of the supply chain and ensuring customer satisfaction across more than 140 countries. Key Responsibilities Conduct detailed visual inspections of incoming and outgoing aircraft parts and related documentation. Verify materials against purchase or repair orders, identifying and escalating any discrepancies or non-conformities. Confirm part identification, physical condition, quantity, and documentation for quality compliance. Use forklifts to safely retrieve/store inventory components as needed. Input and validate part information in the company’s inventory management system. Follow strict ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) protocols during handling of sensitive items. Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team on process improvements and compliance initiatives. Pack and prepare items for shipment using industry-standard procedures and packaging guidelines. Ensure complete and accurate shipping documentation is included with each dispatch. Handle air waybills, shipping documentation, and logistics coordination for pickups and deliveries. Digitize all relevant documentation and images into the company’s internal system. Communicate operational or quality issues to supervisors promptly. Participate in special projects and additional tasks as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Minimum 1 year of experience handling aircraft parts is preferred. Familiarity with ISO or AS quality standards is a plus. Experience with domestic and international shipping regulations. Working knowledge of carrier systems (e.g., FedEx, DHL, UPS). Forklift certification and HazMat training are considered advantages. Proficiency in using inventory management systems and Microsoft Office suite. Skills & Competencies Strong focus on accuracy and quality control. Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive under pressure. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively in fast-paced and team-driven environments. Physically capable of lifting and moving materials (light to moderate lifting).
