Mid-level LEED Certification Certified Welding Inspector National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies Full Job Description NOVA Engineering is seeking a Certified Welding Inspector / Structural Steel Inspector for our Fort Myers, Florida office (Lehigh Acres). We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. Primary duties include performing structural building inspections and QA/QC tests (masonry, reinforced concrete, structural steel, etc.).

Responsibilities:

Perform Inspections in accordance with code and project requirements Interpret project plans and specifications and ensure project requirements are being met. Activities will include performing field testing and inspections Review plans and specifications, performing the inspections accordingly Communicate results with contractors, engineers and others Input results and observations into daily reports

Requirements:

Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification required Construction materials testing (CMT) and inspection experience is preferred AWS D1.1 and

AWS D1.5

experience a plus ICC certifications a plus: Structural Welding, Structural Masonry, Reinforced Concrete, Structural Steel and Bolting Check out our Perks +
