PrideStaff is looking for an experienced Quality Control Technician for a busy manufacturing client. This is a full-time temp-to-hire assignment.

Location:

Fort Myers, FL

Pay:

$17/hr.

Schedule:

First Shift – 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday

Quality Control Technician Job Responsibilities:

Inspection and Measurement:

Inspect raw materials, in-process items, and finished products. Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other tools to verify dimensions and tolerances. Read and interpret blueprints and specifications. Identify and document non-conforming products or components.

Process Monitoring and Improvement:

Monitor production processes to ensure they adhere to established standards. Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process to improve quality. Collaborate with production teams to address quality concerns.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain detailed records of inspections and tests. Generate reports for the quality manager, highlighting defects and suggesting improvements. Ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with relevant documentation procedures

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Knowledge of basic electrical assembly and testing processes (preferred).

Quality Control Technician Requirements:

1+ year of experience in a Quality Control position in electronics/manufacturing or similar role or environment.
Ability to read schematics and use testing equipment.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Basic math skills required.
