Motor Winder 4.0 4.0 out of 5 stars Palmetto, FL CEC Motor and Utility Services has an immediate full-time opportunity for a Motor Winder at our Service Center in Palmetto, FL. The employee will be responsible for rewinding 3-phase random-wound stators. Hours Monday – Friday (7 am – 3:30 pm)

Must be able to move items weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.

Compensation:
$30 – $35 hour
Responsibilities:
Follows all electrical safety rules Keeps the facility clean and orderly May be asked to perform other functions not particularly addressed in this posting Professionally performs duties and works well with others or in a team setting Regular attendance and adherence to the prescribed work schedule to conduct job responsibilities Observes safe work practices and safety methods; performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school graduate or equivalent Knowledge of rewinding 3-phase random-wound stators Familiarity with electrical test equipment (i.e., surge tester, low resistance bridge, multimeter, megohmmeter, amp meter, voltmeter) Familiarity with electrical tests (i.e., surge test, hi-pot test, checking polarity and resistance on windings, taking megger readings) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and be able to stand/walk for extended periods About Company CEC Motor & Utility Services is a privately held Motor and Pump repair shop founded in 2011.
