Job Duties:

• Inspects assemblies/detail parts for compliance to applicable drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements
• Records discrepancies in accordance with the relevant procedures, maintains records.
• s engineering drawings, quality procedures, manufacturing specifications, operations and work sheets, and verbal instructions.
• Uses precision measuring instruments in performing assigned quality tasks
• Create MRB (Material Review Board) documentation for Engineering disposition
• Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year inspection experience in manufacturing aerospace industry components/assemblies
• Capable of effectively interacting and communicating with all disciplines.
• Proficient interpreting drawings, manufacturing specifications, and inspection procedures.
• Open to working any shift as required
• Ability to read and speak English proficiently required in order to perform the job
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
• Able to work independently and effectively as part of a team

Profile and other information related to the position

Preferred Qualifications:

• Preferred candidate will have working knowledge of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
• Working knowledge of Boeing specifications & drawings

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift/move up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Frequent use of hands for various tasks.
• Standing, walking, reaching, and stooping regularly.
• Maintain steady hand-eye coordination.
• Reach in all directions and in potentially awkward positions.
• Effective communication skills and ability to hear.
