Position Summary:

has the authority and responsibility for performing inspection duties as directed and assigned. This position is assigned inspection duties (receiving, in-process verification and final inspection), the person must have a valid A&P license, write, comprehend and speak English language. This repair station ensures that individuals assigned these duties are: Thoroughly familiar with the applicable FAA regulations Thoroughly familiar with the inspection methods, techniques, practices, aids, equipment and tools used to determine the airworthiness of the article on which maintenance, preventive maintenance or alterations are being performed. Proficient in using the various types of inspection equipment and visual inspection aids appropriate for the article being inspected. Able to understand, read and write English. Thoroughly familiar with the procedures as set forth in the repair station manual with CFM-56, CF6-80, CF-34 and

Product Line Engine Responsibilities and Duties:

Perform preliminary, hidden-damage, in-process and final inspections on civil aviation articles in accordance with the current maintenance data. Ensure that tools and equipment used to make airworthiness determinations are labelled in accordance with this manual. Perform the incoming review to identify, control, segregate and maintain all materials (including raw materials and parts) according to the manufacturer’s requirements or standard industry practices. Complete the appropriate paperwork. Carry out the assigned tasks, in accordance with this manual, when work outside the repair station’s fixed location is performed

Inspection, Shipping/Receiving, Maintenance.

Education and skills:

High school diploma or GED certificate required Must have knowledge on inspection tools and techniques Air-frame and power plant license Must have experience and or training on repair station procedures Must have a strong verbal and written communications skills Must exhibit a s high level of confidentiality with wok product Must multitask Commercial Aircraft engine experience. Attention to details is imperative Must be efficient with desire to succeed Must successfully complete a comprehensive background check, verification of credentials and urinary pre-employment test drugs as per the DOT regulations Must have computer skills and Microsoft office knowledge Must be willing to travel extensively for prolonged periods of time
