Job Title 2nd Shift Process Technician Position Location Miami Lakes, FL Pay/hours for position Monday-Friday Second shift schedule $23-28 hourly Requirements of position 1. High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in plastics, manufacturing, or related field. 2. Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a Process Technician or related position within the injection molding industry. 3. Proficiency in troubleshooting and optimizing molding processes to improve quality and efficiency. 4. Good understanding and knowledge with basic maintenance and quality practices. 5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. 6. Strong communication skills and ability to document processes clearly and understand work instructions, equipment manuals and all warning and precaution signs and labels. 7. Excellent decision making, good judgement and integrity. 8.

Physical Requirements:

9. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds 10. Continual standing, bending, walking for extended periods during the shift 11. Working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and temperature variations. Responsibilities of position 1. Setup and start injection molding machines, including installation of molds and auxiliary equipment 2. Adjust machine parameters to achieve optimal cycle times, part quality, and material efficiency. 3.

Process Optimization:

4. Monitor and analyze molding processes to ensure stability and consistency in part quality. 5. Troubleshoot and resolve processing issues, including defects, cycle time variances, and equipment malfunctions. 6. Implement and document process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce scrap 7.

Quality Assurance:

8. Conduct regular inspections of molded parts to ensure they meet quality specifications and

standards. 9. Work closely with the quality department to address non-conformance issues and implement corrective actions. 10. Maintain accurate records of process parameters, machine performance, and product quality. 11.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

12. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines, molds and auxiliary equipment. 13. Diagnose and repair minor mechanical and process- related issues, escalating complex problems to the maintenance or process engineering teams. 14.

Safety and Compliance:

15. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. 16. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. 17. Participate in safety training and contribute to continual process improvement initiatives. 18.

Team Collaboration:

19. Communicate with supervisors, engineers, and other team members to address. 20. Train and mentor new operators and technicians as required. 21. Ability to backfill the production supervisor when absent 22. Follows all Occupational Safety and Health Policies and Procedures. Reports any safety deficiency to immediate supervisor. 23.
