The Quality Assurance (QA) Internal Auditor will support our Quality Assurance department.

Duties and responsibilities:

Assists with continuous improvement of the Repair Station Quality Manual and internal operating procedures, processes, and work instructions. Supports QA management in the development and reporting of key Repair Station metrics. Performs internal RSQM, EASA, and monthly hangar/shops audits of the Repair Station to include but not limited to initiation, follow-up, tracking and closure of Corrective Action Requests. Perform internal audits of maintenance records to include but not limited to action cards, work orders, and other work documentation as required. Interfaces with Customer, and or Business Partners to ensure support on reviewing or challenging processes; performs external audits of as required. Conducts damage/rework investigations, as directed, and reviews of all quality investigations to determine corrective action. Assists in the maintenance of the Repair Station FAA and foreign certifications. Providing clear understanding and direction to all employees regarding the importance of Quality through the development, implementation, monitoring and revision of policy and procedures. Maintain a company commitment to quality improvement by expecting safe conduct on the part of all managers, supervisors, and employees. Holds all employees accountable for Quality All other duties as assigned by the Quality Assurance Seek for positive options to comply with Airworthiness regulations and customers’ requirements to solve challenges Work closely with managers and Management to ensure proper follow up and support Ensure that all areas and team members meet requirements as per Barfield RSMQM quality manual and directives

Required Skills:

Ability to work independently, multitasking, prioritizing and to comply with company goals and directives Outstanding communication, officious and skills to administer internal and external auditing program Ability to work speedily and efficiently with minimum process inaccuracies Intermediate Computer skills (i.e.: excel, database, website) are required to understand and work on data base. Must be able to have basic knowledge, read and understand engine, avionics and aviation vocabulary and manuals, interpret mathematical results Be reliable (punctuality & diligence) and rigorous Positive Internal communication, relationship, and rapport development with all areas Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities: Advanced and Comprehensive understanding of aviation requirements and regulations Confident and assertive Microsoft Office basic package ( Word, Excel, and Outlook) Good written and verbal communication skills. Minimum High School or Technical School achieved College (BA or BS) degree in Engineering and/or Business Administration background, Quantum knowledge and aviation experience is a plus You embody our values:
