We’re actively seeking a Quality Inspector- FAI for an immediate opening in Maimi, FL . The role is full-time , Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
Report to the team leader daily in an office/shipping environment. Complete First Article Inspections ensuring accurate and complete reports. Complete FAI reports and reach out to suppliers to correct errors. Operate within client Quality Management System (QMS). Reach out to suppliers and determine the best course of action with escapements. Adhere to SQA/Client policies.
Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail and adherence to inspection plans and protocols. Ability to interpret basic engineering drawings. Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong organizational skills. Experience with AS9102 Form 1,2,3. GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) per
ASME Y14.5
standards. Experience with Notices of Escapement. Fluent in reading and writing English. Must be able to meet ITAR requirements and undergo a background check The ability to sit and stand for 8 hours within an office and packaging environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified or previously certified in
GD&T ASME Y-14.5
Diploma or GED from an accredited high school or technical school; college degree in engineering Knowledge of mechanical contract manufacturing and LEAN manufacturing 5 years of experience in Manufactuing industry, with 2 years as a Mechanical Inspector SQA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
