Quality Inspector – DIRECT
Job Description:
Job Summary:
Ensure all airworthiness quality requirements are met and documented for maintenance, preventative maintenance, repair, and alteration of aircraft, engines, and components.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with regulations and quality requirements
Conduct weighing procedures and document results
Coordinate inspection activities and perform inspections of aircraft, engines, and parts
Document all work packages, records, and specialized customer and regulatory paperwork
Research aircraft drawings and technical data
Perform walk-around inspections and return-to-service process
Provide data to customers as requested
Requirements:
3+ years of aircraft maintenance experience or equivalent
2+ years of corporate/commercial jet experience
A&P Certification
Basic set of hand tools with inventory and control
Ability to use measuring and hand tools, interpret test equipment, and regulatory documents
Working knowledge of FAA Regs, CAA, RSM/QCM, ADs, SBs, TCDS, etc.
Working knowledge of return-to-service procedures
Ability to train, coach, and mentor employees
