Quality Job Summary:
Daniels Manufacturing Corporation is seeking a Quality Inspector who has experience in a close tolerance, job shop machining environment.
Preferred Experience:
1. Visual and Mechanical Inspection of manufactured components using, but not limited to, Micrometers, Calipers, Thread & Pin Gauges, Surface Plates and Height Gauges 2. Evaluating Certificate of Conformance validity for material and/or special process 3. Processing First Article Inspections 4. High School Diploma and a minimum of one (1) year of related Quality Control experience 5. Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with colleagues and departmental leadership 6. Experience working in an
ISO 9001/AS9100
certified manufacturing environment Primary Job Functions and Responsibilities include the following: 1. Assure consistent quality of production by developing and enforcing good manufacturing practice (GMP) systems using, but not limited to, Micrometers, Calipers, Thread & Pin Gauges, Surface Plates and Height Gauges for validation; 2. Validate processes, through inspection, and document findings appropriately; 3. Provide accurate and complete documentation, including developing Quality instructions; 4. Managing workload and pace to accomplish internal productivity goals; 5. Ability to take engineering drawings and create, document, and implement inspection and test plans to more efficiently validate quality parts; 6. Ability to read and communicate blueprints to shop floor personnel; 7. Lifting up to 45 lbs. ; 8. Completing process documentation accurately and completely; 9. Must be familiar with data entry and proficient with Microsoft Office; 10. Ability to read and follow documented procedures, standards, and/or instructions; 11. Participate in training opportunities.
