This role is ideal for an experienced professional who thrives in a hands-on environment and is passionate about quality systems and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain quality processes and procedures in accordance with ISO and AS9120:2016 standards Lead and supervise daily inspection activities and the performance of the Quality Inspection Team Oversee inspection of incoming and outgoing materials, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and military specifications (MIL-SPEC) Manage the drawings library, Certificates of Conformance (C of C) system, and all quality documentation Submit materials and documentation to source inspectors as required Directly manage Measurement & Test Equipment (M&TE), including calibration cycles Program and train staff on CMMs (Coordinate Measuring Machines) Train and mentor inspection personnel to ensure consistency and accuracy Continuously evaluate and update quality forms, processes, and procedures Ensure proper flow and verification of inspection inputs from internal suppliers before final delivery
Required Qualifications:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or extensive experience in inspection of machined parts Proven managerial experience, with the ability to lead and mentor a team of inspectors Hands-on inspection expertise, with a strong understanding of precision machining and
MIL-SPEC
requirements Working knowledge of ISO standards and AS9120:2016 Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with quality inspection in military land, air, or sea parts Excellent verbal and written communication skills Prior experience with CMM programming and training is a strong plus Why Join Us?
