Job Description

GL Staffing is looking for candidates the position of a Quality Engineer who is responsible for checking, monitors, and audits the quality of products and processes in the organization, Located in Boca Raton FL. Opportunity Type – Direct Hire Salary – $100,000 a year plus full benefit package Our client is a growing American company, major international manufacturer, supplier of military/defense and aerospace parts, components, equipment, and total systems since 1975. Their main office is located in Boca Raton, Florida. Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensuring that processes for the Quality Management System is established, implemented and maintained Supervising all Inspections; the Drawings Library, and the C of C system Submitting Material & Documentation to Source Inspectors Directly Supervising M&TE and its calibration cycle Programming and training of the CMM’s (Coordinate Measurement Machine) Training of inspection personnel Update and review forms and processes for inspection needs and customer requirements Inspect incoming and outgoing material, final to print, make a decision on accepting or rejecting the lot, hold or release the lot in the system and document the outcome Inspect in-process material, make a decision on accepting or rejecting the lot, hold or release the lot in the system and document the outcome Program the CMM (Coordinate Measurement Machine) Verifying the inputs from the Internal Supplier and the outputs before delivering to the Internal Customer Leads daily inspection activities and monitors work performance of Inspection team Schedule recalibration for scales and provide the records to Quality Assurance Records Assistant for scanning Update and review forms and processes for inspection needs and customer requirements Submitting Material & Documentation to

Source Inspectors Required Experience:

Mechanical Engineer Degree (or at least 10 years’ experience in Machinist/Related Field) Experience in Military Land/Air/Sea parts or related field Manages a team and processes for assigned area of responsibility. Establishes and implements individual and team priorities, performance goals and objectives to ensure completion Manages and evaluates individual/team performance and takes appropriate action to meet and/or exceed performance standards for assigned area of responsibility.
