Full Job Description Position Overview:

The Production Floor Quality Control Inspector will maintain quality standards by inspecting production orders for quality imprints and customer specified attributes and recording quality results and coach fellow employees on quality requirements.

Essential Job Functions:

Maintaining quality standards on the production floor Signs off each order along with Supervisor and/or Manager signoffs when order is acceptable to produce. Uploads pictures and information into app for each order signoff. Monitors orders for quality as Operators produce them. Perform audits of printed material and provide feedback to the operators and management regarding any quality issues. Stops and advises orders need fixes during production. Removes unacceptable product from floor and places in appropriate location. Notifies Supervisor/Manager of major quality issues. Checks quality picture in app for running shortages and verify to compare placement. Quality training and coaching Mentor and coach production floor operators and packers on quality requirements. Create and document ways to improve the quality of the parts being produced. Accomplish quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed. Read and follow printed instructions within the Traveler. Determine color match to PMS color book. Determine correct location and centering for printing applications. Keep work area clean and follow all safety rules.

Requirements:

Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with HIT and legal regulations. Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; training opportunities, and volunteering for additional job responsibilities. Flexibility to work outside daily duties to help with varying company needs. High School Diploma or equivalent. Basic Computer Skills Microsoft Office programs and ability to learn multiple computer programs.

Other Skills/Abilities:

Ability to comprehend written instructions and communicate with Printers, Packers, Supervisors, and Manager. Reading and documentation skills. Able to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. Able to multi-task and complete job assignments on schedule. Ability to analyze information. Investigation skills to find root cause.

Physical Demands:

Stand for 8 to10 hours daily. Lift up to 50 pounds. Bend or reach. Read fine print
