Job Description
QC Inspector Superb Staffing Solutions LLC Clearwater, FL 33762 Quality Inspector Conduct inspections of product samples according to established inspection plans. This includes comparison to limit samples, dimensional measurements, and functionality checks across first-piece, in-process, and final inspections. Operate basic and advanced measurement equipment including optical vision systems, pull force testers, infrared scanners, moisture analyzers, and related inspection tools. Maintain accurate documentation through electronic control systems. Verify labels, materials, and paperwork for accuracy. Record inspection results in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP). Properly manage batch records and ensure correct work order close-out. Follow written procedures, work instructions, technical drawings, and required forms related to product processing and quality inspections. Ensure production processes comply with established quality standards. Recognize and understand common product defects, classifications, and acceptance criteria. Utilize ERP systems to move products, retrieve documentation, and reference applicable work instructions. Communicate quality concerns to the production team to support continuous improvement of product quality. Ensure all inspection tools and gauges are documented and calibrated before use. Follow protocols for handling nonconforming products, including segregation, documentation of issues, sample retention for defect review, and communication with quality and production leadership. Maintain working knowledge of applicable standards and regulations including
ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR
820, and others relevant to quality, risk management, inspections, and material requirements. Adhere to all safety policies and environmental requirements. Promptly report safety concerns to a supervisor. Comply with the company’s employee policies, procedures, and core values. Maintain compliance with all applicable requirements of the Quality Management System. Demonstrate consistent, reliable, and punctual attendance. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Performance Goals:
Maintain compliance with the Quality Management System for medical products. Ensure adherence to ISO standards and FDA cGMP requirements. Complete product testing and release processes within established timelines. Meet key quality event metrics, including those for nonconformance reports (NCRs), material review boards (MRBs), CAPAs, deviations, and complaints.
