Direct Hire opportunity for a Quality Technician located inClearwater, FL Check out the role overview below If you are confident you have gotthe right skills and experience, apply today. As the Quality Technician, you are responsible for inspectingproduct quality within the plant, ensuring that product inspectionsand quality control procedures are carried through as defined inthe product specs, and meet the standards required. As a Quality Technician, you will: Ensure the guidelines, procedures, specifications and reports inthe product blueprints are executed at the plant level and workwith Supervisors to submit suggested improvements to the OperationLeader as needed. Ensure that quality standards are maintained and communicated toall plant employees. Interpret test results, compare them to established specificationsand control limits, and make recommendations on appropriateness ofdata for release. Perform visual inspections (VT) on in-process and finishedproducts. Perform penetrant testing (PT) on in-process and finished productsas defined by the customer Perform inspections on mechanical and electrical assemblies perdefined sampling standards. Maintain calibration and preventative maintenance records. Perform internal 5S, Safety, and process audits as part of ateam. Compile test data and perform appropriate analyses. Complete documentation needed to support testing procedures,including data capture forms, equipment logbooks, or inventoryforms. Train associates as needed. Participate in Quality Meetings and follow up on action items andimprovements agreed upon. Provide Quality reference materials as needed, consisting ofcomponent standards, design folders, customer specifications,defect guides, etc. Maintain new start up approval process and ensure quick resolutionof all nonconformances to specifications. Monitor and ensure clear rework/repair instructions are implementedto meet customer and compliance requirements. Maintain control of inspection, rework/repair, and report detailsof quality issues in log. Enter data for daily incoming, in process, and final product auditsin SharePoint or on other forms as per quality procedures. Review quality audit data and act with production team associatesto make the necessary changes to improve product and processcontrols. . This is a full-time, Direct Hire opportunity. You will need the following to succeed in this role: A High School Diploma required, Associates degree preferred. A Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a Quality role A demonstrated track record of communicating and training plantassociates to achieve the quality standards required. Experience in quality assurance for production manufacturing isideal. Display the need for thoroughness and attention to detail. Strong computer skills desired. Ability to stand up and implement new Quality documents, processesand metrics
Licensing or Certifications:
ASQ Certification (Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer, QualityImprovement Associate); preferred
Pay Rate:
