You will maintain communication and coordinate inspections with production leaders, inspectors, and the quality manager. Primary Duties
- Perform fit up and layout inspections of in-process machined and fabricated items per the applicable drawings, specifications, & traveler/work order requirements.
- Perform final dimensional inspections of completed machined and fabricated items per the applicable drawings, specifications, & traveler/work order requirements.
- Perform Faro Arm inspections of machined items as required.
- Perform visual weld inspections as needed. I.E., vacation coverages.
- Create written inspection reports, feature/weld maps and/or as built drawings as required per work order.
- Communicate with the quality manager and fabrication personnel regularly and seek their input on resolving quality non conformances.
- Verify inspection equipment is calibrated and in working order.
- Maintain welder continuity logs. Skills & Qualifications
- Excellent verbal, writing, and communication skills.
- Strong blueprint reading skills.
- Strong knowledge of geometry.
- Faro Arm experience preferred.
- AWS CWI required.
- Excellent computer skills, especially in Excel for generating reports.
- Ability to use both metric and standard systems of measurement. Additional Information
- This is a non-exempt position; overtime will be paid as required by law.
- This position reports to the Quality Manager.

- This is a full-time position. Monday – Friday, overtime is occasionally required.
