Purpose PURPOSE
Position responsible for participating in the plant’s quality assurance program. Assures that manufacturing projects and processes meet quality control standards.
Key Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES
Reads and comprehends instructions and follows established procedures
Selects components according to specifications and required schedule
Checks output to ensure highest quality
Maintains equipment in good condition
Keeps records of production quantities and time – records all information on tracking sheets and in database
Reports on issues, malfunctions, or defective parts
Other duties as required
Qualification
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Ability to use tools and machines pertinent to position
Good understanding of quality control principles
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition
Dependable
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients
Assist with the coordination of the overall quality specifications and standards for processes and finished products.
Other duties as required
Inspection of molded blanks
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or educational equivalent
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Extensive use of fingers requiring great manual dexterity.
Communication requiring accurate perception of speech.
Regular sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
