POSITION SUMMARY

This is an entry level position•

NIGHT SHIFT.

Maintain the QA laboratory Operations. Ensure all the products that are produced by Freshco, LLC meet current standards. Monitor the bottling process to ensure its full compliance with product specifications. Must be available to work weekends.

Night Shift:

6:00 p.m.•6:00 a.m.

Compensation:

D.O.E. $20.00/hr.•$25.00 hr.

Shift Differential Rate:

7:00 p.m.•Midnight = $0.50/hr. Midnight•7:00 a.m. = $0.75/ hr.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES QA
Line Technician:

Equipment swabbing Visual bottle and label checks (roll change) Bottle & Box code verification Startup and Shutdown inspections Fill Weight testing and logging Chemical testing Line & Bottle Washer Cap application testing Quality checks for changeovers (“Green Sheet process”) Imputing data into box coders Gather product samples for testing and retention Log production quantities and times as well as all line down time Monitor label quality Cap Sealer operation Info Band Applicator operation Silgan Rejection System operation Pre-checking incoming product (Tankers, Drums Bin, Boxes, etc.) prior to Pasteurization. Pre-checking blended product after Pasteurization. Keeping accurate records of all Lab checks. Conduct & Document Daily Sanitation Audits. Calibration of Color Meter & Refractometer. Review Quality PM and Sanitation Logs. Report Deficiencies Calibration of Process Temperature Indicators. Inventory QA/Micro supplies. Produce Material Requests.

Test procedures:

Brix Acid Ratio (BAR), Oil, Suspended Pulp, Floating Pulp, Calcium, Temperature, Color & Taste.

Chemical Testing:

Water, Sanitizer, and Cleaning Solutions. Iodine, Caustic, Sanitizer. WA Premium.

Bottle Line Checks:

(relieving bottle line tech)

Visual Checks:

Bottle Code, Fill Level, Case Code, Package Quality.

Chemical Testing:

Sanitizer, Rinser Water Testing. Bottle Fill-Weight Testing. All other duties as assigned

Microbiological:

Inoculating Product samples in Culture Bottles. Data Input BactiAlert Load Incubator and monitor incubation process. Gather, Print, and distribute micro information. Plating Product Samples Plating, Sampling, and processing. All other duties as assigned This is not a comprehensive list of duties for this position. Must have extreme accuracy and focus Clear communication is extremely important; Must read and write English proficiently.
