This position will inspect all in-process and finished goods to ensure product quality. Quality control inspector will also be responsible for the inspection of incoming components, start-up line clearance checks, visual inspection of equipment to ensure proper cleaning/ sanitation was performed, complete required documentation for each order. Maintain work areas organized, pull and label retains accordingly, create or update standards as needed.

  • Must be available to work overtime if necessary Principal Duties Perform in process QC test for finished goods and confirm that specifications are met Perform QC inspection for packaging materials prior to production use Perform in-process QC inspection for filling and packaging line ensuring finished goods comply with work order requirements and meet customer standards.

Monitor daily production and communicate any quality issues to Production supervisor. Knowledge of how to use basic measuring instruments Detailed oriented to evaluate packaging artwork and finish goods product to compare against standards for defects. Store and organize retains after each production run, must ensure all retains are properly labeled. Maintain written records of inspection results on corresponding forms. Comply with company policies, safety standards, GMP and SOP guidelines and good housekeeping policy/practices. Control and track product standards, create and update standard as needed for production. Participates in training of new associates. Perform other duties as directed Requirements/Qualifications Bilingual Spanish/English Basic math skills Basic computer skills Must know Microsoft office Experience in GMP environment preferred Interpersonal skills Analytical skills Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills Must be detailed oriented and have the ability to multi-task Proven organizational skills Must have excellent time management skills Influential, strategic thinking and problem solving skills.
