ASAP Position Summary:
We are seeking a Senior QA Analyst with a deep understanding of Blue Yonder Warehouse Management Systems and hands-on experience with warehouse workflows such as Receiving, Picking, Putaway, Packing, Shipping, and Inventory Management. This is a fully remote opportunity with a collaborative, agile, and quality-focused team working across supply chain technology solutions. The ideal candidate will take ownership of quality deliverables, apply test best practices, and lead the implementation of QA strategies in line with modern SDLC, CI/CD, and Agile models.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Test Strategy & Execution Perform comprehensive end-to-end functional testing across Blue Yonder WMS and legacy systems (including
ASRS:
automated storage/retrieval).
Develop and maintain Test Plans, Test Cases, Regression Suites, and detailed Defect Documentation.
Support UAT and deployments, ensuring high-quality and bug-free releases. ✅ Collaboration & QA Leadership Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Developers to align testing with Agile sprint goals.
Lead requirement validation and test coverage improvements.
Review peer test artifacts and guide automation testing initiatives. ✅ Tools & Data Readiness Utilize tools such as Jira, Confluence, TestRail, Postman, SoapUI, Selenium, Cypress.
Prepare and manage test data across Blue Yonder WMS and supporting systems.
Engage in backend testing using SQL, MongoDB, and perform API and middleware testing (Kafka). ✅ Reporting & Optimization Generate test dashboards, analyze metrics, and deliver actionable quality insights.
Recommend best practices for SDLC integration and continuous improvement of QA processes.
Minimum Qualifications:
8+ years in IT QA roles
3+ years independently testing Blue Yonder WMS, with specialization in outbound workflows
Experience with ASRS systems and real-time inventory management
Strong backend/database validation experience: SQL, NoSQL (MongoDB), Kafka
API/Web Service testing experience (Postman, SoapUI)
Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools
Strong communication and adaptability in dynamic, cross-functional environments
Experience in Agile/Scrum teams
Preferred Skills:
API Testing experience
Broader WMS system testing experience (other than Blue Yonder)
Test automation experience with Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools
Certifications in WMS or testing methodologies (preferred)
Education:
High School Diploma or GED (Required)
