Description
Ensure quality and safety procedures, instructions, tests are properly understood and carried out, audit and monitor various test and quality checks on components, sub-assemblies and finished products as per organization’s inspection plans and specification requirements, must have a strong attention for detail, ensure that all product has been tested and falls within standards, measured to specifications and is within tolerances, test samples, conduct periodic visual and measurement test to validate measurements, initiate non -conformance reports (material rejection notices) as applicable, investigate and report production line failures, communicate required adjustments to: Quality Manager, Production Supervisor / Maintenance and follow up on resolution.
Job Requirements
Minimum 2 years experience in a QA / AC position. Knowledge of OSHA and manufacturing safety procedures a plus. Food safety experience a plus. Strong reading, writing and communication skills. This position requires to be self-managing / responsible, be efficient, organized, and detail-oriented, be a team player, be able to work in a non-climate controlled manufacturing environment, be able to stand for long periods of time, and to be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
