Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Technician to join our manufacturing team. The Quality Technician will be responsible for ensuring that products meet quality standards by performing inspections, tests, and audits throughout the production process. The technician will assist in the identification and resolution of quality issues, ensuring compliance with all industry and company-specific standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct in-process and final inspections of products to ensure compliance with quality standards. Perform tests (e.g., material testing, mechanical and visual inspection) using standard inspection tools and equipment. Record and analyze data to identify quality issues or trends and provide recommendations for corrective actions. Assist with the maintenance and calibration of quality inspection equipment. Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action investigations when quality issues arise. Review and maintain quality documentation, including inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance reports. Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards during inspections and testing. Assist in training and mentoring junior team members on quality processes and procedures. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify areas for quality improvements.

Qualifications Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent Proven experience in a quality control or inspection role, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of quality control standards, testing methods, and measurement tools. Experience with basic statistical process control (SPC) methods. Ability to read and interpret technical documents. Familiarity with ISO, ASTM, or other relevant industry standards. Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot defects and inconsistencies.

Basic to intermediate arithmetic skills for measuring, calculating, and recording data (e.g., measurements, percentages, ratios). Ability to perform statistical analysis and quality control testing using standard mathematical methods. Comfort with using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and up to 25 lbs. frequently. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods during inspections and testing. Ability to work in various environments, including areas with noise, varying temperatures, and other typical manufacturing conditions. Ability to visually inspect products for defects and deviations. Use of hands and fingers for testing and measuring equipment.
Job Type:

$17.00 – $20.00 per hour
