Quality Control Body/Paint Engineer Specialist Position Available In Bryan, Georgia

What Will You Do:

Paint quality control engineering position shall have an understanding of the automotive paint process, to enhance paint quality while meeting internal and external customer requirements

• Inspect incoming raw material properties and perform online appearance checks
• Investigate and analyze defective products and develop effective countermeasures
• Establish short-term/long-term counter measures to ensure smooth production
• Collaborate with Engineering and Production on quality improvements during current production and during new project development stage
• Enhance suppliers quality level by conducting Supplier Process Audit (SPA)and reviewing their products, tools, and systems periodically
• Participate/lead BIP audit and Color Harmony sharing inspection results with suppliers, engineering and production to request and discuss improvement plan
• Manage assigned products to meet internal/external customer requirements
• Improve efficiency of quality control management system by learning andapplying new technology, knowledge, and equipment
• Ensure the adequacy of relevant procedures and systems in accordanceto specification and applicable legal requirements
• Meet all other requirements as assigned.
