Quality Control Concrete Tech Position Available In Clarke, Georgia

Job Description:

Job Description Successfully plan and execute product andmaterial testing at proper intervals Ensure all products meet orexceed ASTM and DOT specs Perform daily tests to ensure productquality (cylinder breaks, pre-pour/post-pour, wire check, etc.).Solve basic technical and production problems Identify and resolvequality control issues Conduct and document Pre and Post post-pourinspections of the product Test and document fresh and hardenedconcrete in accordance with industry standards Communicate and workwith plant personnel to resolve quality issues Maintain anddocument calibration and maintenance of QC testing equipmentInspect and stamp the product according to DOT standards beforeshipment Maintain all plant and personal certifications throughACPA, NPCA, and multiple DOT’s Interact with government andindustry inspectors as needed

Work Experience RequiredQualifications:

Must have and maintain ACI Field Tech and ACIStrength Tech certifications Must have and maintain PQS Icertification Must acquire and maintain multiple state DOTcertifications Forklift certified

Required Qualifications:

Abilityto multitask Ability to communicate verbally and in writing Abilityto keep and maintain all required documentation Excellenttime-management skills and the ability to work independently withminimal supervision
