Non Ferrous Scale Operator/Weighmaster-Vienna 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars Vienna, GA 31092 We are looking for a hard-working, reliable and safety minded individual to join our team as a Nonferrous Weighmaster. The NF Weighmaster is the primary point of contact with our customers and is responsible for the accurate weighing and sorting of nonferrous metals. You will also be responsible for completing all required documentation for the receipt and payment of all materials received. This a fast-paced role, that requires excellent customer service, communications, and coordination skills. This position may work outside in varying weather conditions, and SA Recycling strictly adheres to all Metals Recycling Business Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.

Scale Operator/Weighmaster:

Responsible for accurate and courteous weighing of all nonferrous metals that are brought in by our suppliers. In accordance with company policies and procedures, and state guidelines. Accurately sort and weigh inbound scrap materials from individual customers. Document scrap material and customer information into ticketing system. Provide customers with an accurate receipt of scrap materials delivered. Educate, inform, and assist customers with required documentation for acceptance of scrap materials. Completes and submit all required reports in accordance with company policies and procedures. Perform basic housekeeping duties in the scale house and customer areas to main a safe and clean environment for all. Must be able to work with the general public. Qualifications of a

Scale Operator/Weighmaster:

High school diploma or GED. Previous experience as a weighmaster preferred, but not required. 1 year of heavy customer service experience in the scrap metal or similar industry preferred. Ability to learn and identify various types of ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite. Bilingual (English & Spanish) language skills a plus. Must pass Credit and Background check Must pass Drug screen
