7:00 AM-3:30 PM Eastern Time Position Summary Aertssen is looking for detail-oriented and experienced Quality Inspectors to join our growing team. The Quality Inspector position ensures that all machines arriving at and leaving the facility meet clients’ safety, functionality, and presentation standards. This includes conducting inbound inspections on arriving machines, outbound inspections before dispatch, and performing machine exercises to verify operational readiness after storage. The Quality Inspector also performs random quality checks throughout the workflow to ensure all machines conform to the client’s quality standards. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our customers’ products. Responsibilities Conduct inbound inspections on machines arriving at the facility to identify transport damages or quality issues. Perform outbound inspections before machines are shipped to ensure they meet all customer and internal standards. Conduct random quality checks during and after technical processes to monitor compliance. Document and report any damage or nonconformities using internal reporting tools. Carry out machine exercises (e.g., startup, movement, functionality check) to confirm operability after extended storage. Support in determining readiness for delivery and coordinate with assembly or repair teams as needed. Ensure proper tagging, labeling, and tracking of machines throughout the inspection process. All this is always carried out taking into account our company’s quality, environmental, and health policies. Qualifications Previous experience in quality control or mechanical inspection, preferably with heavy equipment. Basic mechanical understanding and ability to detect faults or deviations from standards. Accurate in documenting inspection results and reporting non-compliance. Ability to operate heavy equipment, including forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, excavators, etc. Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
