Job Description
Trillium Construction is seeking a Quality Control Inspector for a temp-to-hire opportunity with a reputable client in Swainsboro, GA. This position involves ensuring the quality and accuracy of structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in welding inspection and knowledge of industry codes and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections throughout fabrication, including receiving, fit-up, weld prep, final welds, and paint.
- Verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and applicable codes.
- Maintain detailed inspection records for quality assurance and production control.
- Resolve drawing discrepancies in coordination with detailers.
- Coordinate with customer inspectors during various inspection phases.
- Report fabrication defects to foremen.
- Assist shop staff in reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
