Job Description:
The Inspection Technician Associate works in the areas of inspection and measurements of products within molding and metrology. The Inspection Technician Associate will perform quality inspections to plastic and silicon parts. Associate will also perform dimensional measurements of parts using microscopes. Responsibilities
Conduct visual inspection of plastic / silicon parts / molds and record any findings
Perform dimensional measurement of parts using microscopes.
Ability to use interferometer to measure optical properties
Make decision if products meet standard for release Experience / Education
High school diploma or its equivalent required
Associate degree preferred
Knowledge with knowing how to use microscopes for visual inspection and measurements
Minimum of one year of relevant experience
Skills
Ability to accurately and consistently identify defects / abnormalities and document observations
Basic computer skills using Microsoft (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Understanding of Good Documentation Practices
