As a Quality Technician, you will inspect raw materials, in-process items, and finished products to ensure they meet company and regulatory standards, document results, and support continuous quality improvements.

What We’re Looking For:
High school diploma or GED
2+ years of quality experience
Familiarity with SAP or other Warehouse Management Systems
Proficient with Office 365
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to stand for long periods, walk up to 5 miles per day, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
Comfortable working in cold environments (0-37°F)
Lean/Six Sigma manufacturing experience – preferred
Background in food safety and defense – preferred
What You’ll Do as a
Quality Technician:
Inspect and approve incoming materials by verifying specifications and conducting visual and weight-based tests; reject and return non-conforming materials
Apply FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) principles for inventory control and conduct regular cycle counts
Inspect in-process products to ensure compliance with specifications, perform quality tests, and communicate necessary adjustments to the operations supervisor
Evaluate and approve finished products through final inspections; identify items requiring rework and confirm quality post-rework
Accurately document inspection results, summarize rework and waste data, and enter findings into the quality database
Ensure proper functioning of measurement equipment by adhering to calibration schedules, operating procedures, and requesting maintenance when necessary
Promote a safe and compliant work environment by following company policies and legal regulations
Manage and conduct environmental monitoring program (EMP) swabbing activities, including daily and project-based plans
Perform additional tasks as assigned to support overall operational objectives
