Quality Control, UL 3.2 3.2 out of 5 stars 4485 Commerce Drive, Buford, GA 30518 POSITION SUMMARY The Quality Control Technician is responsible for ensuring all safety and health standards are met, ensuring all panels are built to quality standards and assisting the production manager as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Monitor employees to ensure they are following all safety procedures Review and keep current all safety policies to confirm the production facility is up to date Conduct regular walkthrough inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards, ensuring a safe working environment Meet with the UL inspector quarterly and provide the required documentation Ensure panels are tested, marked, and documented to UL standards Ensure parts are installed and used according to manufacturer requirements Perform Point to point checks for each panel. Ensure panels are tested, marked, and documented according to the drawings Ensure all wire numbers are legible and applied correctly. Ensure all components are marked accoring to the diagrams. Apply power to the panel and ensure all components power up correctly and without issues. Perform a pull tess on all wires to ensure all terminals are tightened correctly. Document all panels for shipping with clear pictures of all components and connections. Mark drawings with any necessary deviations and confirm with engineering the changes will not compromise performance. Document all changes and supply the red line drawings to engineering. IP
