Quality Inspection/Testing Power Tools 3.8 3.8 out of 5 stars Norcross, GA 30071 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Power Tool Technician to join our team. This role will focus on testing and repairing various types of powered tools. Testing duties involve set up, inspection, test, collect data, calibrate and clean power tools to factory specifications. You must have a strong understanding of mechanical systems, attention to detail, the ability to troubleshoot effectively & work in a high volume and fast paced shop atmosphere.
Example of Type of Tools:
Grinders, sanders, circular saws, nail guns, drills, impact drivers, impact wrenches, miter saws, jig saws, air compressors, and outdoor cordless tools, such as pole saws, chain saws and hedge trimmers. Duties Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment. Diagnose mechanical issues using tools such as an ohmmeter and other diagnostic equipment. Follow step by step instructions Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed. Perform repetitive tasks on a variety of tools Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management. Qualifications Must be mature, focused on the job at hand with a strong work history 3+ years repairing tools and equipment or in a similar role such as repairing tools while working with tools in construction, landscaping, mechanic type work. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and troubleshooting techniques. Familiarity with using diagnostic tools Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and management. High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
