Quality Control Technician Position Overview To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the duties , knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. • Review of batch records and lot files for accuracy and completion. Compile and summarize product data in order to complete and submit product reviews. Inspect returned goods and investigate nonconforming issues. Inspect and check in of raw materials, packaging products along with product containers and closures. Assists the Quality Assurance Supervisor/Manager in determining the disposition of non-compliance inventory to include raw materials or finished goods. Assists the Plant Quality Manager in the resolution and reporting of defect issues. Assists the Quality Control Supervisor/Manager with determination of product specifications. Writing of reports (observation reports, investigation reports) and SOP’s. Following and enforcing all cGMP, GDP and SOP’s. Able to review and match PO’s with corresponding bill of lading. Able to investigate customer complaints when needed Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or equivalent. One to three years of experience in the quality field. Good computer and communication skills are required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, talk, hear, and smell. The employee is occasionally required to sit climb, and kneel. The employee must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
