POSITION SUMMARY
The Parts Assessment Technician will be responsible for inspecting various remanufactured engine components to ensure proper identification and quality. This role requires using necessary SAP software transactions for goods movement and inventory control.
Shift:
6AM-2:30PM Monday-Friday
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Parts Assessment Technician will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:
- Using company documentation, identify various engine components by part number and confirm receipt into inventory.
- Using company documentation and tools, inspect and verify component quality and conformance to internal standards.
- Use care and attention when handling engine components.
- Skillfully use typical measurement tools used in the inspection of engine components: micrometers, calipers, indicators, and the like.
- Maintain attention to detail under varying circumstances.
- Maintain a neat, clean, and safe work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

HS Education or equivalent Experience in a manufacturing (assembly, quality) environment Experience with IC engines Experience with reading manufacturing drawings Proficient in using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges or the ability to learn.
