REQUIREMENTS
1. Responsible for complying with the policies and procedures of the Quality Control Lab. 2. Conducts daily testing for fiber and fabric produced. 3. Maintain accurate test records and perform data entry. 4. Conduct international testing (Wide-Width, Cone Drop & CBR) for fabric produced, as needed. 5. Conduct Quality Assurance Testing on purchased products, as needed. 6. Provide support in executing trials and perform other work-related responsibilities as assigned. 7. Follow Laboratory Safety Practices and Good Lab/Manufacturing Practices. 8. Must be able to perform calculations and conversions using decimals, fractions, and percentages. 9. Must have problem solving, troubleshooting and organizational experience.
Description of working conditions/physical surroundings:
Must have the ability to: 1. Stand continuously (75% or more), sit occasionally (25% or less) and walk frequently (25% to 75%). 2. Handle/manipulate equipment frequently (25% to 75%). 3. Repetitively use fingers, arm/shoulder, and legs/feet frequently (25% to 75%). 4. Ability to lift and carry 10 lbs. occasionally (25% to 75%). 5. Push and pull 50 lbs. or more frequently (25% or less).
