JOB PURPOSE
: Perform proper testing to ensure that raw material, in process material and finished product is within desired quality specifications. Assist as needed in other plant activities
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Test, process raw materials, materials in process and final product. Report all results and observations to Process Operators so corrective action may be made if necessary Select proper screens for product size corrections as necessary to maintain API specification. Inspection of trucks prior to unloading. Maintain accurate records for shipped products quality and destination; maintain samples of shipments in orderly manner for easy access. Process incoming slurry shipments and obtain daily inventory on finished product. Product development and related research testing using
ICP, XRD, OHAUS MB200, MICROSCOPE CAMERA, TSR TESTING.
Perform decisions on all screen changes and make screen changes physically in the plant when required with assistance from others. Perform quality tests on bagged product for proper specifications prior to bags being shipped. Assist in other areas of the plant as needed including but not limited to Maintenance, Production and Fork Lift Operations.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Required High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
