Responsibilities:
The Integral Quality Technician will be responsible for monitoring defects, line flow and transporting finished glass wares from the conveyor line to its next location for processing. In addition, this position will be responsible to review the final condition of the bottle to ensure top quality. This person will be tasked with ensuring that specific metric standards are achieved through the forming process.
Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment consistent with Arglass policies and procedures while striving for zero accidents.
Ensure all Quality Test are performed in a timely and accurate manner.
Quantitively review aspects of fully formed containers from Job start up and during the run of the product cycle.
Action nay out of Specification results and implement follow-up testing when necessary.
Make recommendation on any processes that should be updated to prevent future quality issues, for considerations.
Support NPD process and wider Quality initiatives trough testing as required.
Function as the quality lead for all NPD Processes to ensure all specifications and new customer requirements meet standards.
Guide all Quality Operators and Lab Technicians and assist in daily decision making, Follow up testing and root cause analysis.
Communicate with all Department on any trends that occur and provide details to make decisions.
Support other departments as they perform routine Quality Checks and data entry.
Participate in Operational meetings, foresee potential Quality concerns and implement checks as needed.
Manage any non-conforming product using the PARF process. Follow up on finish product by completing required testing and releasing LPNs where appropriate
Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages.
Partner with other department to resolve issue and create new solutions.
Train and develop other personnel
Help create a dynamic, results-oriented and fulfilling company culture based on teamwork

Requirements:
2 years technical education or relevant experience required.
Degree in relevant field preferred
