Job Description
Are you detail-oriented and passionate about quality? Staffmark is hiring a Quality Inspector for a manufacturing facility in Covington, GA. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring that every glass bottle meets the highest standards before reaching our customers.
Pay Rate:
$16.25/hour
Schedule:
12-hour rotating shifts 6:00 AM•6:00 PM and 6:00 PM•6:00 AM Shifts rotate every 2 weeks
Workdays:
Monday•Thursday and Thursday•Sunday (shifts alternate every 8 weeks) Includes weekends and some holidays
Responsibilities:
Perform thorough inspections of glass bottles to verify compliance with quality standards (e.g., dimensions, thickness, clarity) Use precision measuring tools and perform visual checks to identify any defects or inconsistencies Document findings accurately and maintain clear records of inspections and test results Collaborate with production teams to address and correct quality issues Uphold safety and cleanliness protocols in the inspection area
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Proven experience as a Quality Inspector, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify even subtle product defects Strong organizational and documentation skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently Commitment to maintaining safety and quality assurance standards
