What Quality Control contributes to Cardinal Health Quality develops and implements quality policies, procedures, and processes to ensure products and services comply with regulatory standards and specifications. Quality Control is responsible for the analysis or inspection of materials, components, products or processes for compliance with specifications and standards. The Tech II, Quality Control performs varied product inspections or analysis generally of finished goods components, incoming materials or new products, by observing, measuring and recording data using applicable measurement tools. Compiles and inputs data, documents and process findings and interprets results. Completes applicable documents needed for the release of product to the field. This job demonstrates knowledge of testing methods, product usage, and applicable procedures according to regulations and standards and adheres to established policies and procedures but also participates in the establishment of future inspection procedures. The role is 100% onsite in Augusta, GA. Responsibilities Performs varied product inspections or analysis generally of finished goods components, incoming materials or new products, by observing, measuring and recording data using applicable measurement tools. Compiles and inputs data, documents and process findings and interprets results. Completes applicable documents needed for the release of product to the field. Demonstrates knowledge of testing methods, product usage, and applicable procedures according to regulations, and standards and adheres to established policies and procedures but also participates in the establishment of future inspection procedures. Support Initiation, containment, and disposition of Non-Conformances. Perform sampling and conduct applicable testing/inspection on all sampled production lots. Report issues in the inspections to QA Supervisor and / or Production Supervisor for further action Identify status of the product (i.e. accept or reject) based on results of testing/inspection Document Control functions – Maintain documents in a clear and readily accessible format, both electronically and physically, to allow for easy access and retrieval. Miscellaneous tasks on as needed basis to support QA. Qualifications Must have 1-2 years of experience in a related field. High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred What is expected of you and others at this level Applies acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks Readily learn and apply new information and methods to work in assigned area Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications Works on routine assignments that require some problem resolution Works within clearly defined standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods Adheres to all quality guidelines Works under moderate degree of supervision Work typically involves regular review of output by work lead or supervisor Refers to complex unusual problems to supervisor Anticipated hourly range: $15.60 per hour – $22.54 per hour Bonus eligible:
