Position Summary:
Assists with planning and oversight for activities concerning development, application, and maintenance of quality standards.
Position Responsibilities:
Assists with developing and implementing standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation, utilizing knowledge in engineering fields, such as chemical, computer, electrical, or mechanical. Devises sampling procedures, and designs and develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data. Works on establishing a program to evaluate analytical testing, equipment, facilities, precision measurements, accuracy measurements, and performance testing. Develops and implements methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material, and devises methods to assess cost and responsibility. Compiles and writes training material and may conduct training sessions on quality control activities.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Quality Engineering or a related field.
Experience:
1+ years of experience in a production environment
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
Manufacturing Environment May lift up to 50 lbs. Requires walking, standing, bending and lifting for long periods of time Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer
