ROUND WILL BE A PHONE INTERVIEW AND 2ND ROUND WILL BE IN-PERSON WITH A HANDS-ON INSPECTION TEST. JOB SUMMARY
The QC Inspector will work closely with departmental managers, production staff, and suppliers. You will take responsibility to ensure quality, aiming to minimize the costs of reworking or waste and maximize customer satisfaction with our products. You will have the opportunity to take control of all activities relating to the final inspection of products and relevant documentation, developing our business goes hand in hand with developing our people?s skills.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor and report Quality Assurance and Quality Control aspects of the required work scope package(s).
- Control and ensure the accuracy of all required component parts.
- Completion of various inspection and quality reports
- Mechanical and inspection report completion to the required standard.
- Ensure the traceability of all parts required and that the documentation trail is in place.
- Record and document traceable information that will be required to certify the manufacturing process to the highest standards.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Strategic:
- 2+ years of hands-on Dimensional inspection experience utilizing precision tools including but not limited to: Calipers, OD Mics, Dial Indicators, etc.
- Able to understand, evaluate, and apply technical information (Functional/Technical Learning)
- Proven ability to read and comprehend GDNT drawings and Critical Dimension reports
- Comprehension of MTRs and NDT certificates.
- Knowledge of Coatings is a plus
