Ronpak has an excellent opportunity for a Quality Control Technician in our Shreveport, LA Plant for the 7AM – 3PM shift.

Job Description:

The Quality Control Technician supports the implementation of Quality Systems designed for the manufacturing of products.

Essential Job Functions:

Data Collection encompassing designed retrieval systems for various methods of product testing Performing general Quality Testing evaluations in various manufacturing areas of the facility. Generate raw inspection reports Directly supports operation and coordination of calibration on all testing devices. Applies scientific trend analysis on customer complaints and must be able to communicate well with Sales, Production and Customer Service personnel. Monitoring Compliance of in-house programs by verifying products before shipment. Complete and manage Quality documents such as: SOP, HACCP and GMPs. Perform tasks related to area of assignment involving all general Quality Assurance functions Responsible for reporting issues related to Food Packaging safety or quality. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Bilingual:

English and Spanish highly desired. 2-years’ experience minimum, with appropriate background. Must be able to work any production shift as requested including weekend and holidays. We are a 24/7 production facility.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Must have both skills and the ability to make spontaneous decisions concerning Quality related issues. A standard level of organizing skills will be needed. Working knowledge with comprehensive understanding of HACCP, GMPs, SOP, FDA and USDA Compliance Regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point with average typing skills applied.
