Description:

Diversified Foods and Seasonings is now hiring for a Quality Assurance Analyst at our corporate office in Covingtion, LA. The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for analysing, trending, and tracking customer complaints and all associated investigations and corrective actions. The position requires maintenance of QA duties at the corporate level, including generating and analyzing administrative reports related to customer complaints and other quality criteria.

Responsibilities:

Log, monitor, organize, track, and trend all customer complaints. TraceGains processes, including technical expertise, leadership, and management of approved raw material lists and supplier/raw material documentation. Management of the finished product specification process. Create new product specifications, ingredient statement revisions, label modifications, as well as changes to other analytical information. Managing Raw Material/Supplier Specifications and the approved Raw Material list. Development and management of the Supplier Quality Scorecard, as well as other continuous improvement tracking and trending processes. Complete customer requests by agreed upon due date; letters of guarantee, Hold Harmless agreements, advance rulings, recall inquiries, third party audits, Plant QA information, Nutritional’s, labels, specifications, allergens, etc Complete ongoing administrative tasks; review and /or approve technical documentation such as, but not limited to: Standard Operating Procedures, Work Aids, Technical and Quality Alerts, Deviation Reports, Permits, Licenses, and contracts. Participate in Technical Oversight/training and manage various continuous improvement projects as requested. Generate, organize, and update product labels

Requirements:
Skills Needed:

1 -2 years of progressive experience in Supply Quality Management Experience using quality management software systems with keen problem-solving/analytical skills. Understand and have experience in packaging, production, maintenance, and raw material processes. Experience with Document Management tools such as ETQ is a plus. Ability to work as a leader and in collaboration with other cross-functional teams and individuals.
