Material Movement Supervisor 2.4 2.4 out of 5 stars 63399 US-51, Roseland, LA 70456 Position Summary The Material Movement Supervisor is responsible for directing the internal material transfers throughout the warehouse. The Material Movement Supervisor is responsible for overseeing tasks related to shipping, receiving, storing, and inspection of various materials, equipment, and supplies. Position Responsibilities Position responsibilities may include and are not limited to the following: Plans the overall material flow. Maintain and ensures inventory accuracy of the inventory system. Maintains inventory level to ensure deliveries occur within specified timelines. Support and supply packaging lines and production with necessary materials and supplies. Checks others’ work to ensure proper material is being disbursed to the production lines. Use of safe handling techniques and avoiding damage to all materials. Safely operates material handling equipment. Cross trained in the following warehouse functions: Receiving Duties Shipping Duties Staging Crew Duties Minimum Requirements Proven track record of adherence to safety protocols and procedures. Proven track record of adherence to quality and ISO processes and procedures. Demonstrated good track record of performance, positive attitude, motivation, attendance, and leadership potential. Ability to apply concepts of basic mathematics. Ability to write neatly and complete forms and basic reports. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to perform basic mechanical skills and troubleshooting for equipment setup and/or repairs, adjustments. Perform basic (ERP) system transactions including maintaining inventory. Maintain and comply with production procedures. Maintain a clean work environment and follow safety protocols.
