Job Description

We are seeking a hard-working Quality Administrator for our growingbusiness. The Quality Assurance Assures a fully functioning QualityManagement System that complies with

ISO 9001

2015. The successfulcandidate will have strong communication skills, an eye for detail, andwill be dedicated to following all safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

Document Control Responsibilities

  • Work with each of the functions inthe company to create and maintain the quality documentation systems.
  • Maintain the ISO Quality Management System, procedures, workinstructions, forms and update/modify those documents as needed.
  • Develop yearly audit process systems for QMS and products. Developannual audit schedule and audit plans, assign audits, perform audits,and monitor and maintain the audit database system.
  • Upon verificationof raw materials lot and part numbers, complete and sign “Certificatesof Compliance” for customers’ orders.
  • Verify certificates ofconformance of incoming materials.
  • Review daily first piece inspectiondata to ensure/verify accuracy.
  • Perform final inspections of finishedproducts.
  • Determine (as needed) conformance/non-conformance of parts(defect tags/yellow tags).
  • Determine outcome with questions and/orissues concerning quality of products. Maintain MRB/Yellow Tag Systemdatabase.
  • Receive and record incoming RM documents in the database.
  • Assist with issue Return Material Authorizations. Issue productcontainments. Data Measurement/Analysis Responsibilities
  • Update and/ordevelop FMEA’s (control plans with engineering as needed).
  • Measuringand sorting parts as needed.
  • Complete process line audits periodicallyand record results.
  • Complete, submit and review all FAIR’s (FirstArticle Inspection Reports) as necessary. Supervisory Responsibilities
  • In absence of QA Manager, oversees department.
  • Foster and encourageprocess improvement efforts in the company.
  • Assist with supervisingand training quality assurance staff (inspectors, technicians, otherquality staff and departments as needed).
  • Assist with developing andmaintaining training plans and new hire training.
  • In absence ofQuality Manager, maintain customer contact as it relates to productquality questions, complaints, and corrective/preventive action databasesystem.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Excellent verbaland written communication skills.

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meetdeadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficientwith Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Use of metrologyequipment, i.e. Calipers, micrometers, various gages, contact andnon-contact measurement machines (MicroVu, CMM)
  • Reliable andtrustworthy.
Education and Experience:
  • Associate’s degree or threeyears of experience in related field.
  • Experience in quality controlsystems and database management.
  • Some experience in procedure writingto regulatory standards is preferred.
  • Supervisory experience is alsopreferred.
  • Experience in the application of statistical charts.
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk andworking on a computer or standing on the shop floor.
  • Must be able tolift up to 50 pounds at times.
