Manufacturing Full Job Description Description:

The Quality Assurance Specialist at Videology is responsible for the design, implementation and management of policies and procedures including standard operating procedures, as well as ensuring compliance with the company’s Quality programs, goals, and objectives. Develops and applies prevention based quality assurance tools and processes to ensure processes and products meet customer, company, and safety requirements. Completes process improvement projects that support companywide quality improvement initiatives. Serves as the primary quality control resource for problem identification, resolution, loss reporting and continuous improvement. Designs, implements and documents procedures from process control, process improvement, testing and inspection. Establishes and implements metrics for monitoring processes effectiveness (process capability, control charts, measurement quality) for monitoring system effectiveness and to maintain acceptable quality levels for internal processes. Performs root-cause analysis and other problem-solving activities to identify effective corrective actions and process improvements Reports quality issues, trends and losses Tracks, analyzes, and leads initiatives for all quality and customer compliance issues within production processes. Develops process certification standards and assists in process certification. Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing, evaluating and compliance. Interacts with internal customers to identify opportunities to improve quality and establish feedback with manufacturing and development personnel. Interacts with internal and external customers to ensure compliance. Manages inspection and testing processes to ensure high productivity and high technical integrity. Educates and trains employees as to their impact in the quality management system. Develop the appropriate level of process documentation to ensure quality standards and met. Help to eliminate waste use of Lean and other continuous improvement methodologies. Actively assist in troubleshooting failures during tests. Identify root cause and initiate corrective action. Create processes and procedures to help the company meet delivery and performance goals. Help assure that strategic customers and special orders are handled properly and delivered with zero defects. Implement automation to the process where possible. Participate with the engineering team plans when transitioning New Products from engineering to manufacturing. Ensures

information such as Bill of Materials (BOM’s), Videology Part Number Descriptions are accurate and implements Change Notices (CN’s) when errors are discovered – to fix errors.

Requirements:

Proficient in the manufacturing and test of electrical and mechanical products Strong sense of ownership and accountability. Excellent autonomous problem-solving ability. Effective liaison who can assemble individuals and cross-functional teams to problem-solve and to get the desired results Continuously exhibit the highest levels of professional discretion as a quality and manufacturing representative of Videology in all customer relationships.
