Quality Control Technician:
Monitor and document production processes to ensure compliance with HACCP, GMPs, and food safety regulations Inspect raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods for quality and safety standards Report non-conformances and assist in root cause investigations Work closely with production and sanitation teams to maintain a clean and compliant facility Calibrate and maintain testing equipment and instruments Assist in audits (internal and external) and regulatory inspections Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports Qualifications of a
Quality Control Technician:
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in food science or a related field is a plus Previous experience in quality control, food production, or seafood processing preferred Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, and food safety protocols Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work in cold, wet environments and handle seafood products Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team Basic computer skills (MS Office, data entry) Physical demands and work environment as a quality control technician: Frequent standing, walking, bending, and handling materials Exposure to loud machinery and cold/humid environments Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required, including gloves, boots, aprons, hearing protection, and more Compensation/Benefits as a Machine Operator in a
