Temp-to-Perm Position Summary:

Seeking hands-on mechanical Quality Assurance Inspectors with strong experience in quality review and inspection tasks. This role is not suited for candidates with solely visual inspection backgrounds. Candidates must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents due to ITAR compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct mechanical, visual, and electrical inspections (incoming, in-process, and final) for cable assemblies and related products Complete First Article Inspections (FAIs) Maintain accurate quality records using software and manual logs Identify and document suspect materials Perform product transfers via ERP system Support RMA/MRB activities as needed Use visual aids (photos, PowerPoint, data) to clearly communicate inspection findings

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proficient in using a variety of measurement tools: calipers, micrometers, ring/plug/thread gages, height gages, optical comparators, microscopes, etc. Ability to interpret complex 2D engineering drawings Familiarity with IPC standards (620 and J-STD) Comfortable with Windows-based applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems Understanding of Random Sampling techniques Experience performing dimensional inspections in both decimal and metric Strong communication skills across departments and levels Must be able to read and follow instructions in English Preferred but

Not Required:

IPC 620 Certification Experience with WinSPC or similar quality data systems Exposure to Macola ERP software Background in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or Computer Science Knowledge of shelf-life and hazardous materials labeling

Education & Experience:

1 year of technical college training (Engineering or Computer Science preferred) or equivalent hands-on experience

Physical Requirements:

Repetitive use of small hand tools Ability to lift up to 25 lbs Standing, walking, and sitting throughout the shift #CNX100
