ISO 9001, ISO
13485, and AS9100 Quality Management System Processes. Work collaboratively to develop and improve manufacturing processes Coordinate and assign needed day to day tasks in the Milling Department. Program and set-up the Milling machines using provided software and drawings from engineering. Operate Milling Machines to produce parts meeting specifications, performing such work as start and stop machines, load stock, install tools, etc. Work from job travelers, manufacturing drawings, tool drawings and sketches. Check dimensions and quality of work using comparators, gages and other measuring devices. Maintain condition of machines performing such work as clean, lubricate, adjust, etc. Maintain a safe, clean and organized workspace. Perform any other duties as requested. Skills, Education, and Experience To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: Minimum 10 years of experience in a job shop environment performing precision machining and 2 years of experience in a leadership role Proficient use of CAD/CAM software, Solidworks, Mastercam, GibbsCam Must be able to use a wide range of measurement devices such as optical comparators, indicators, micrometers, calipers, threaded and straight plug gages, pitch micrometers, CMM etc. Must have a thorough understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing. Must be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications and inspection instructions and determine product conformance based on such documents. Must be able to interact and communicate with coworkers at all levels of the organization with respect and dignity. Experience working in an ISO 13485 and/or AS9100 regulated facility.
